Padana Tubi was founded in 1970 by the Alfieri Family, initially aiming to produce carbon steel welded tubes. Later in 1989, the company started to produce welded tubes in stainless steel, too. After several stages of development, by building more and more production lines, Padana has improved their overall capacity and range of products: today roughly one million tons are produced yearly and the facilities expand over one single area of more than 400.000 square meters, all within the municipality of Guastalla. The latest investment is a 40.000 square meters plant where a new, bigger machine for carbon steel structural hollow sections is installed, ranging up to diameter 18" and thickness 18 mm.
